The face behind Becksplore
I’m Becky, a passionate traveller and budget-conscious adventurer, based in Utrecht in the Netherlands. I have travelled to 47 countries, and most of them solo. From a year backpacking through Australia and volunteering on farms, to studying abroad in multiple countries or studying languages abroad, I love all new experiences. I have jumped out of a plane, went to a surf camp, became a certified scuba diver, viewed the pyramids of Teotihuacán in Mexico from a hot air balloon, and these were just some of my favourite travel experiences.
My blog used to focus on budget travel but as I got older, I do also like to spend more money at times, it’s all about balance. Becksplore is space for fellow wanderers who want to see the world without breaking the bank. I share tips, itineraries, and resources for all sort of travel experiences.
Where is my audience?
My readers are all over the world, but with the majority being in the US (22.1%), followed by the UK (14.3%), Netherlands (8.2%), Germany (7.9%), Canada (5,7%), and Australia (4.5%). Almost 90% of my traffic comes from organic traffic.
