After the last four months in Bratislava, I have tried a few restaurants during my time here. As it is time for me to leave Slovakia, I thought it was about time to finally make my list of favourite places to eat at in Bratislava.
Basilico
€€ Italian Restaurant
Dunajská 25, 811 09 Bratislava
Everybody’s go to Pizza restaurant in Bratislava is Basilico. Actually, there are around two or three Basilico’s located in Brastislava. This restaurant is usually full so better make a reservation in advance.
Slovak Pub
€€ Slovak Restaurant
62 613, Obchodná, 811 06 Bratislava
For traditional (and also cheap) Slovak food, Slovak Pub is always a good idea. Overall, this place is really confusing. There are a lot of smaller rooms within the restaurant and I still get lost in there every time. The food is cheap and because the place is so big you don’t have to reserve in advance as there will usually always be a seat available.
Enjoy Bistro
€€ Café
Michalská 3, 811 02 Staré Mesto
This was my favourite place for breakfast when I first moved to Bratislava. I liked it so much I even went here two days in a row. Enjoy Bistro has a bunch of coffee choices and lovely breakfasts, such as avocado toast. They also have healthy lunch options. The last time I was there I had a really good Pad Thai.
Foodstock
€€ Vegetarian
Klobučnícka 485/6, 811 01 Bratislava
This is one of the first places that I discovered in Bratislava. It’s a small place with not many options but the vegetarian dumplings are really great.
Pollito
€€ Cheesecake, Café
Námestie SNP 19, 811 01 Staré Mesto
I really love cheesecake so if there is a store dedicated to cheesecake I just have to include it. As you can see they have a big selection of cheese cakes. So for all you cheesecake lovers, this is the place to be!
BeAbout
€€ Burger Restaurant
Prešernova 56/4, 811 02 Bratislava
Not really Vegetarian friendly, as there are no Veggie Burger options but if you love Burgers you will love this place. It is located close to Cormenius University.
Hummus and Couscous
€ Vegan/Vegetarian; Israeli Restaurant
Einsteinova 18, 851 01 Petržalka
And last but not least, my absolute favourite place to eat at in Bratislava: Hummus and Couscous. This place is located in the food court of the Aupark shopping centre. My go-to order is falafel eggplant laffa which I get at least once or twice a month.

Where have you eaten in Bratislava? What is your favourite place?
