What will you be able to see at the Making of Harry in Tokyo?
At the Harry Potter Studios in Tokyo, you can explore iconic sets like the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, and Platform 9¾, where the attention to detail makes you feel as though you’ve stepped into the films. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at the special effects and craftsmanship that brought the magic to life, from intricate costumes and props to animatronic creatures like Buckbeak and Aragog.
The experience is interactive, allowing you to cast spells with a wand, mix potions, and even ride a broomstick using green screen technology. Don’t miss the Dark Arts section, where you can encounter Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Finally, grab some magical souvenirs from the studio shop and enjoy a Butterbeer at the café to complete your visit.
Most things are available in both English and Japanese (often English with Japanese subtitles, or the other way around).
There might be a few occasions only where an activity was only available in Japanese (e.g. someone giving the defence against the dark arts lesson), but other than that you don’t you will be fine with English.
