Hello guys! After last years’ extensive traveling including Central America, my study abroad in South Korea and a bit of South East Asia, I have to go a little easier from now when it comes to traveling. But I couldn’t spend a whole summer without traveling at all so I did a short two-day trip to Switzerland. Mostly because I live about two or three hours away from the Swiss border and I have never been there before. It was a good short trip, apart from the part where my bus home never came and I had to take an expensive train because there was only one bus a day. But more on that another time.
Anyway, I had seen loads of pretty pictures from Interlaken and there was a direct bus going there as well. As the name suggests, Interlaken is located between two lakes: Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. It’s a small little town in the Swiss Alps and a famous tourist spot. It’s a great place for hiking and outdoor activities in general. Interlaken is also known for offering loads of adventure activities, such as paragliding or sky diving.
The scenery is stunning but have a look yourself. Here are 20 pictures to inspire you to visit Interlaken in Switzerland.
So how beautiful does this place look like? And these were my 20 pictures to inspire you to visit Interlaken! Have you been to Interlaken or would you like to travel there in the future?
Talk to you soon x

I went to Interlaken 20 years ago but remember it like it was yesterday! Such a beautiful lakeside town. These pictures take me back!
After these photos, I am definitely making a trip there soon. I always heard Switzerland is beautiful even as it is. Looking forward to it..
I’ve been to Interlaken 2 years ago and totally loved it!
Wow! We are inspired all right! We’ve never been to Switzerland but when we do we’ll make sure to visit Interlaken 🙂

I haven’t been to inerlaken in almost 30 years. It is just as beautiful as ever. I visited there one summer when I worked as a camp counselor in Geneva!
